In March of 2010, one of my fellow classmates, Alexis Pilkington, committed suicide. It was one of the saddest things my town had to go through. We all came together as a community and since then, we have never been the same. That same year in April, we lost another member of our community to suicide. Joseph DiPalma was a loving father of two girls, one of which I graduated with, and the other who has put a very important event together. It’s called P.S. I Love You Day. What Brooke is trying to portray in this entire event is that no one is alone. No matter how alone you feel, you’re not. There is always someone somewhere in your community that you can talk to if you are having thoughts of ending your life.

One of my closest friends wrote this song specifically about suicide. Please watch this and spread it around, it would mean the world to me and I know it would mean the same to Brooke and her family.
